“I started Scheer Mattlage in 2002 – committing myself and my team to creating one of a kind event experiences, as well as providing an extraordinary level of personalized service.

It has been an exciting journey. A journey that started with landing my first job at the White House, as Trip Coordinator in the Office of Presidential Advance under President H. W. Bush.

As with all Schedule C Appointees, presidential elections can extend or end employment. My final project as Trip Coordinator involved planning a multi-city train trip for President Bush’s re-election campaign.

The White House was only the beginning – the journey to starting my own company included serving as Special Events Manager for The Heritage Foundation, as well as The Staubach Company, Dallas Fan Fares, and World Travel.

Always one up for a challenge and on the advice of a client, the entrepreneurial seed was planted, and the rest as they say is history.
